Giacomo Grassi was born in 1970 from a family of tenants. Since he was a child, together with his grandfather Olinto and his father Rolando, he started working in the fields of his family falling in love for that work made of hands and traditions. This love for agricolture brought him to specific studies concluded in 1999 with a degree in agricultural sciences.
During the studies he has never stopped caring about agriculture, working manually and intellectually in his family ranch (Soc. Agr. Podere Grassi s.s.) acquiring that practical experience which is at the base of any profession.
Finally after years of research, in 2004 the first bottling of monocultivar olive oil. Curiosity and passion are still nowadays the key ingredients of our work and quest for perfection in quality is the energy that makes it possible to keep sharing the aromas given by nature through its several olive varieties.
